Submitting Images

After you  have selected  one or more  photos  that  you  feel  are  both  attractive  and an accurate visual  representation of  your pet, you can  send  it/them  to me via USPS,  overnight, or email. If there is more than one image, please make note of which images best  represent  the coloring of  your pet. Bear in  mind  that I can work from negatives, slides, or transparencies as well as prints. If  you  send  a  strip of negatives be sure to include  a note  regarding  the  position  numbers of those you wish  for me to scan for review.
If you send  more  than one  image, I will  review  them  and select one or more which I believe  will  work  best  as  the  source  for  your  pet’s  portrait.  A copy of the chosen image(s) will  be  sent to you, by email if possible,  so that you can make a final  choice  and/or  approval.  Once  we  have  agreed  on  an  image,  and  I  have  received  your deposit, I will begin work. At this point your deposit becomes non-refundable (see Right of Return and Refund - below).  Also,  no further  changes can  be  made once I have begun painting.

Payment

After we have settled on an image, and before I  begin  painting, you will need to submit a deposit  of 50% of  the agreed  total.  The  balance will be due upon completion of the work.   
You  may  make your  payments  by  PayPal, check, or money order.  All payments are to be made to Mike Barcus.

Shipping and Deliver Time

Your order  form  provides  you  with an opportunity to choose  the shipping method which  works best for you.  I will ship a painting to a physical address only. We can discuss  a delivery date  at the  time of  ordering, but generally it will take from 2 to 6 weeks from confirmation of image selection to delivery.

Right of Return and Refund

You will have two weeks from the date of delivery  in which to decide whether you wish to  return your painting  for a refund.  If  a  painting  is returned  and a refund made, full ownership  of,  all  rights  to  reproduction  of,  and all proceeds  from  the  sale of,  the returned painting will revert to the artist.
